The Raquel Santos Peskosky Endowed Scholarship was established to honor Raquel's lifelong dream of becoming a Physician Assistant. In the words of the fund itself, it supports aspiring Physician Assistant students in memory of Raquel, Class of 2020, who embodied the highest ideals of the profession through her exceptional clinical care and deep compassion for her patients.
This scholarship is awarded to students who share Raquel's dedication to healthcare, her compassion for others, and her commitment to making the world a better place. It is both a merit-based and values-based award, recognizing academic excellence alongside the kind of character that Raquel exemplified every day.
Through this scholarship, Raquel's dream lives on in every student it supports.

We look for students who embody Raquel's spirit of compassion, determination, and service.
Academic Excellence
- Currently enrolled in or accepted to a Physician Assistant program
- Strong academic record demonstrating dedication to studies
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care

- Demonstrated compassion and empathy in service to others
- Community involvement, volunteering, or advocacy
- Interest in environmental conservation or related causes
- Personal resilience and a spirit of optimism
